 Job Description :  CA Firm – Kollam, Kerala We are seeking an experienced Receptionist cum Accounts Assistant to manage our front office and branch accounting. Unlike a general clerical role, this position requires a candidate with a fairly good grasp of financial accounting and the ability to maintain error-free records. The ideal candidate will balance professional guest handling along with basic accounting responsibilities. Key Accounting Responsibilities: Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately captured. Financial Accounting: Assist in the preparation of Income & Expenditure statements and other monthly financial summaries, on excel spreadsheet. Billing & Invoicing: Generate accurate bills, raise monthly invoices, and proactively follow up on pending payments to maintain healthy cash flow. Cash Management: Maintain the Receipt, Cheque, and Petty Cash registers with 100% accuracy. Tax & Payroll Compliance: Assist with basic data validation for GST returns, maintain offline/online registers, and prepare monthly payroll statements. Expense Management: Generate monthly cheques for office-related expenses and ensure proper documentation for every payout. Front Office & Admin Duties Guest Relations: Manage the front desk, handle incoming calls, and welcome visitors professionally. Coordination: of the dispatch and collection of couriers and postals. Records Management: Digitize and organize office documents through scanning and systematic filing. Mandatory Requirements Experience: Minimum 1 year of proven experience in an accounting or dual admin-accounts role is a pre-requisite. Education: B.Com degree is highly preferred. Technical Skills: Good knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, data entry), MS Word, and Email etiquette. Competency: Must be able to independently understand and handle Bank Reconciliation and understand the basics of financial statements. Attributes: High level of integrity, punctuality, and a "zero-error" approach to data entry.
